The Court Relations area of the National Catholic Society of Foresters is the representative of the local courts in the Home Office. We work to maintain the strong and productive relationship that exists between our court system and the Home Office Staff. We send a bi-monthly newsletter to all courts keeping them informed of current fraternal events and opportunities, sharing court stories, and spreading the fraternal spirit. Court Relations is here to serve our court and we encourage them to contact us with questions or concerns.
We also seek to assist members, their courts and their communities with a wide variety of activities and programs. If the program or activity requires forms to be completed, those can be printed from the links below, filled out and returned to Court Relations.
Hearts and Hands:
This is the cornerstone program of NCSF fraternal and beneficial outreach. When local court raise funds with a pre-approved activity for a parish, Catholic school, religious education program, community needs, or an individual family experiencing financial difficulty, NCSF will match the funds raised up to $1,000 per year. It is one way NCSF gives back to our members and their communities.
Junior Activity Assistance Program:
NCSF values our younger members and encourages local courts to offer volunteer service projects and fun activities for the junior members in their area. NCSF will help the local court defray expenses by providing a stipend based on the number of junior members attending. Guests are welcome at all junior events.
Join Hands Day:
Join Hands Day is a national day of volunteering held the first Saturday in May that brings youth and adults together to improve their community. NCSF supports this activity and will reimburse a court for part of their expenses involved in whatever project they select. It is very powerful when fraternal organizations ‘join hands’ with other service organizations bringing adults and youth together for the betterment of their community.
Adult Service Opportunities:
Many courts will regularly perform volunteer service within their community. This gives our members an opportunity to express their faith in service of others. “The Son of Man came, not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (MT 20, 28). Everyone is invited to join our courts as they live our faith.
Fraternalist of the Year:
This award gives NCSF the chance to recognize a member who has given notable service to our organization and their community during the past year. Each court can nominate one of their members for outstanding service. All the nominees deserve our respect and appreciation. The Fraternalist of the Year will be selected by independent judges outside of NCSF, and their information will be forwarded to the National Fraternal Congress of America for consideration as the National Fraternalist of the Year. Please fill out the form below and return it to the Court Relations office. Deadline for submission is May 15th.
Fraternal MVP Program:
Sponsored by the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA), the Fraternal MVP is an award given weekly to a beneficial member from any fraternal society who epitomizes the spirit of fraternalism. The weekly winner will receive a certificate from NFCA and be posted on their website for that week.
Please follow the instructions on the form below and return it to the Court Relations office for submission to NFCA.
Script Save Prescription Drug Discount Card:
All members of NCSF are eligible to receive a Script Save card at no cost. This card provides prescription drug discounts at over 50,000 participating pharmacies nationwide. Script Save can help members fill in the gaps of any prescription insurance they may have and give discounts to members with no prescription insurance. Contact the Court Relations office to receive your card.
Communication Grant Program:
These grants are available to Catholic dioceses and provide assistance in communicating our faith to their people. As a Catholic organization, NCSF recognizes the need to promote the message of our faith. If people don’t understand the Word of God, how can they come to believe?
